A season which explores the range of flamenco dance talent begins with the welcome return of London favourite Gemma de la Cruz. Followed in October by Natalia Garcia Huidobro. November, Paula Gomez Quintana. And December, Yinka Graves.
Gemma de la Cruz
Surrounded by flamenco as a child Gemma began classes at the age of ten and studied at the Madrid Conservatoire and Amor de Dios alongside Belen Fernandez and Belen Maya.
Apart from her regular solos for Flamenco Express in many British theatres since 1999, her independent work includes: The Teatro Espanol, teatro Barcel, Teatro Plaza de la Villa, and Teatro de la Zarzuela. As well as Japanese and Latin American tours.
Javier Macías returns to Flamenco Express the Autumn Season for his first appearances at ‘Harry’s Place’.
A charismatic singer from Cadiz with a vast repertoire. A regular favourite of on the London scene for his combination of energy and delicacy of tone, he has sung for Emillio Maya, among others, and at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz club, alongside distinguised artists such as David Morales.
Chris Clavo
A founder member and musical director of Flamenco Express, he began playing the guitar at fourteen years old and later studied with flamenco maestros Carlos Heredia, Diego Amaya and Pepe Justicia. He has performed throughout Britain and Europe with Flamenco Express as well as touring with flamenco jazz virtuoso Eduardo Niebla and Iraqi pop sensation Jassim. BigDance 2012 ‘Iron in the Soul’.
La Joaquina
Founder member, choreographer and director of Flamenco Express. She has worked with Christina Hoyos, Paco Peña and others in Madrid, Tokyo, New York, Montreal, Toronto, Paris and throughout Europe.

Delara Tiv is the latest find of the Domingo Ortega company, and fresh from its sensational national tour of Canada.
In 2011 Delara presented her first production Alborozo in El Teatro de Moncloa and Casa Museo de Aravaca In Madrid, dancing alongside her teacher Inmaculada Ortega as a guest artist. She has recently presented her second project Azalea in March 2012 in El Teatro de Moncloa in Madrid.
